Product Description
Great worm for composting. Must stay above 50°
Fahrenheit. Great to take with you when fishing with
kids or pan fishing! The best temperature for these guys and gals is between
70-74 degrees F. There are about 1,000 worms in 1 pound of Red Worms. All worms
we sell by the pound are sold as "bed run" meaning you will get worms of all
different sizes from baby's to adult. Worms are only shipped on Mondays and
Tuesdays.

Common names and abbreviations: EF, EF’s, Red
Wiggler, Tiger Worm
Red Worms are a breed of worm that does not
burrow. They feed in the top 4-6” of the soil. They can live in temperatures
from 50-85° Fahrenheit. They do their best work when the temperature is 68-75°
Fahrenheit. Red worms will grow to about 3” long. They reach sexual maturity in
about 6 months.
